Why We Exist:
At The Margins Project, we believe the way God has blessed us—through time, resources, and finances—isn’t just for us, it’s meant for others. We exist to mobilize the margins for mission, equipping and supporting ministries in developing countries with what God has already placed in our hands.
What We See:
Empowered Christians across developing nations.
Every ministry, no matter its location, having access to the support it needs to lead boldly, love deeply, and transform its community for the glory of God.
Ministry leaders being encouraged by in-person support, providing the same feeling we have when we get to sit down with a good friend after a long while.
How We Do This:
Through an intentional, on-the-ground presence, we bring essential resources—like technology, literature, leadership development, and ministry support—directly to ministries in all communities. His provision to us becomes His provision through us.
On the Project:
Ashlae and Jordan Ortiz are full-time pastors and ministry leaders with a deep love for Jesus and a calling to serve the global Church. With experience serving 8 nations, they’ve walked alongside pastors and church leaders who are faithfully advancing the Gospel in under-resourced areas. Through The Margins Project, Ashlae and Jordan are dedicated to providing these leaders with the tools, training, and support they need to continue fulfilling the mission God has entrusted to them.
